The #JengaLibrary campaign is an annual event set to sensitize the communities we partner with on the importance of reading and libraries in and to fundraise for the construction/renovation and expansion of one or two library facilities at Elimu Fanaka partner schools. Elimu Fanaka has a target to furnish all of the schools we partner with with 15,000 books each in the ratio of 70% storybooks, 20% reference materials , and 10% course textbooks.

Through this, Elimu Fanaka will be hosting a #JengaLibrary Community Charity activities – walks and runs, dance competitions, luncheons, and game evenings on the last week of September each year starting in 2023 to fundraise for the construction and furnishing of at least two libraries for our partner schools. These events will include a Gala Night on the last Saturday in September in the evening targeted to raise over $72,000 to go towards the two libraries construction project

To keep our friends and partners involved, Elimu Fanaka will be hosting a series of mini-events online and offline towards the big day. We invite all our partners to support us by hosting dinners, lunches, game nights or galas in their communities in the effort of supporting the fundraiser.

To make this evet a success, Elimu Fanaka seeks partnerships with local and international individuals, corporates, organizations, companies and small businesses to support the event in; logistics, management, event planning and operations of all necessary details including transportation of participants to the location, the establishment of registration payment mode, provision of first aid service, marking of running tracks, provision of a public address sound system, and support the communication  and advertisement/marketing unit for wider reach and mobilization of participants.
