Our goal is to bridge needs and resources by creating sustainable and positive transformations across all the communities we work with. It is very clear that quality education has the power to transform a person’s life by providing them better access to opportunities, opening doors to better employment which has the impact of increasing income and overall improving their living standards. By equipping learners in marginalized communities through their access to quality education, they will grow to become effective agents for change in their families and the wider community.
EF supports Rural Primary schools through two main core programs: Nawiri (swahili for “thrive”)and Imarisha (swahili for “strengthen”)programs. Through Nawiri programs, we work directly with learners engaging them in Alternative Learning through Storytelling, Leardership Development, Literacy and Klub Ujuzi. While Naiwiri focuses on learners ‘ development, we offer support to parents and teacher professional, leadership and economic development through the Imarisha program where we capacity strengthen them to provide holistic support to their children.
